Popularly, the doctrine of unconditional security is known as eternal security or once saved always saved (OSAS).  This website will affirm OSAS from what is known in theological circles as the Free Grace (FG) perspective.

A strong affirmation of OSAS will entail a strong doctrine of rewards. The principle Greek word for  reward is misthos. Hence, the material on this website will develop a strong biblical perspective regarding the doctrine of rewards (misthology).

For example, the biblical phrase outer darkness is understood herein to be a reward concept and thus a misthological issue. This phrase is found in three passages of Scripture (Mt 8:12; 22:13; 25:30). These passages typically have been misunderstood to teach that salvation from hell is by works: Serve well or burn in hell. Salvation from hell is misconstrued to be contingent upon your service. The counterproposal made herein is that these passages (as well as many others) are dealing with the loss of rewards within heaven, not entrance into heaven. Therefore, as part of my defense for unconditional security, I will spend a lot of time talking about conditional rewards.
